Everyone!

At the
meeting, we mainly discussed fundraising ideas, horse fair, and the World Show
team. There will be a colt raffle; the colt was generously donated by the Baum
family. Please email Julie Bushue to have tickets mailed to you.
If you are
interested in participating in the Horse Fair this year (usually first weekend
in March), please email me and let me know your name, what event you would like
to participate in, the color and pattern of
your horse.
If you are
sure that you are going to the 2010 Youth World Show, and would like to
participate with the 2010 Youth World Show team (and meet the
following qualifications), please let me know the following information:
Your name, Your age, 1st pick Event, 2nd Pick Event. The event Choices are:
W/T Pleasure ages 5-9, Horsemanship, Showmanship, Equitation,
Barrels, Hippology (test on horse knowledge), and Knowledge Relay (putting your
horse knowledge to use). The last 6 events are open to 13/u and 14-18 youths. Hippology
and K. Relay teams will be assembled last, after the other teams have been put
together.
A date for
the February meeting has been decided. The meeting will be held FEBRUARY 13 AT NOON. A meeting place will be decided
by January
30th, and it will either be held in BLOOMINGTON OR SPRINGFIELD. This meeting is very important for
those interested in the Horse Fair!!
