b'Illinois Paint Horse Association Scholarship ApplicationPurpose:To provide scholarship funds for IPHA members pursuing a college education .Who Qualifies?Any IPHA member in good standing who is actively involved in the club or youth activities . This fund is dedicated, but not limited, to college-age students between the ages of 18-24 years .Amount of Scholarship Awards:The dollar amount and number of scholarships awarded shall be decided by a vote of the membership at the January General Membership meeting based on the financial report from the preceding year . Funds will be paid directly to the educational institution, and shall ONLY be used for tuition and/or books .Scholarship Selection:The IPHA Board of Directors will review all eligible applications and award the scholarship(s) . The decision of the IPHA Board of Directors shall be final .How to Apply:Applicants must submit the official application form to the IPHA Treasurer . Applications will be accepted until August 1 of each year . The scholarship award is applicable for one year, and students are eligible to reapply and receive funding in successive years .Eligibility Guidelines: Any member of the Illinois Paint Horse Association is eligible . Must have been accepted by or enrolled in an accredited community college, junior college, college, or university . Must be a high school graduate . Student must maintain a minimum 2 .5 grade point average throughout their college career . Student must maintain at least a twelve-hour class load and/or be considered a full-time student paying full-time tuition . Scholarships will be awarded upon proof of registration at an accredited community college, junior college, college or university .
